Ola amigos! Well it has been another busy week! Last week was a light workload. I hung out with my mom--we did the usual mother-daughter outing...LUNCH! If I can get her away from household duties, then I've done my job:) And over that weekend, I escaped from this quiet town to a similar version. I hung out with my brother and his GF at State College. Basically the university is the main attraction. Wow talk about a big campus! We went to a nice Chinese restaurant, and later entertained at home with Dave Chappelle's standup, "Killing Them Softly." I think I've seen this a zillion times thanks to my brother. I also treated myself with a shopping excursion--I was lucky with my purchases!
Yesterday I hung out with bro and GF again. This time she came to our neck of the woods. After helping my mom with the garage (they moved two months ago, and the place was still cluttered with boxes) and study room, we went to dinner at the newly opened Bennigans. I stuffed myself with fajitas and strawberry lemonade (I couldn't drink since I had to work later that night..yes I covered another night shift, and also had to work this afternoon). Although I had six hours of sleep in between, I'm exhausted! My last hour of work was fine except for getting yelled at by a woman with dementia symptoms. What to do except suck it up and take care of her. Hope old age is kind to me!
Hope you guys are having a good weekend. Here's a photo of last night's outing...forgot to take pics inside, so we took a few in the freezing cold. Brrrr! Get ready for sweater weather!
P.S. It's Sunday and I had to post about my latest dream. Either I'm watching too much standup comedy or the dreamworld is more exciting than reality. I had a dream that Lewis Black was my date for a lecture/presentation/class. Next thing I know I see my high school pal, who I haven't seen in years. We hug and the dream ends. Maybe it's because I kept telling my brother about the jokes from "Red, White and Screwed." Happy dreaming!

Hi chick, I was in church when you called.
Yeah, I can feel it, another round of phone tag between you and I!!!
Sounds like a fun weekend for sure! What did you buy me :) haha
Angel-Of course I had to call you about my dream and you're not there! All is forgiven since you were at church. I don't have to work tomorrow, so maybe we'll be lucky with the phone?!! I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Phats-Well I splurged for myself. Nothing too exciting--pajamas, tops, a cool dress from Macy's, bras..eh I guess none of those items would suit you?:) What would you like for Christmas? Perhaps yummy chocolates from a local candy store?
Oh man...I've had dreams with comedians in them. The funniest one was with Todd Barry, as he was narrating what I was doing, as he was always standing next to me. Eerie, but freaking hilarious! Rules of Enragement is my favourite CD from Lewis Black! I love his rants about the weather!
I once had a dream with Bill Cosby. He was trying to get me to eat Jell-O pudding pops.
Sounds like a nice weekend. I also hope old age is kind to me. It is kinda scary thinking about the things that could happen. I love Lewis Black. I hope he was nice to you in the dream. I figured he would have woken you up since he yells just a little bit.
Nice weekend!!! Cute pictures!
Hmm sure i'll take yummy chocolates, or a new car prefer it not be made out of chocolate
So are you on the left or the right? I'm excited about putting a face with a blogger:)
Ally--I'm the one with the green shirt. I thought I'd get out of my shell and post pictures. I may have some from tonite's outing--well I'll get them from friends. I don't have a digital camera! It's killing me. Have a good weekend.
