It's been a while again. For one thing, I was sick with the flu. At this point I'm sick of tea, oatmeal and cough drops! I'm glad that it's over and now I can go back to thinking of how the rest of the season is going to suck.
Speaking of suck, I heard the Bills lost again. I'm wondering if I should just say silent prayers for them and support the Steelers instead. I've been a PA citizen for 7 years now.
Let's see...the roommate is still odd as ever. But I kind of got used to it and just continue to live my life. Obviously there won't be any girl bonding anytime soon. She's just reclusive like her cat. And I don't understand her ways. She's all about being organic and earth friendly, yet she wastes the garbage bags (which I buy!). I also didn't like that she came into my room to use my computer. It's easy to find out when there's the history link. That just about ticked me off. So, I changed the password hehe. Hopefully, she got the hint.
The reason I'm letting her stay for 6 months is because I know she's in a difficult position right now and can't afford to live by herself. I, too, was in a similar state a couple of years ago. But I was also proactive and expressed gratitude for everyone who helped me along the way. Some people are different.
So, I haven't seen my significant other in almost 6 weeks. He lives in another town, thus we have a long distance relationship, which has its pros and cons. He's been training for his job, plus he's an active duty fireman and also a dad...All of those responsibilities don't allow for much of a dating life. Yet, when we do see each other, we waste no time and enjoy our company to the max:) Yes, it's still difficult! I'm only human.
I don't know what else to spill. I'm tucked away under four layers of blankets, with two plump cats on my bed (I'm catsitting for my parents till Jan). Life is pretty good eh?!

Must really be hard to have a reclusive roomie because you are such a social person. Plus you are fun to be around, so why wouldn't she want to talk to you?
And going into your room to use the computer? Wrong!! We are really good friends and I wouldn't enter your room without explicit permission!
What weekend are you celebrating Halloween?
Glad to hear you are feeling better, and sorry that your roommate is not the greatest. But you are being a nice person and maybe you will get a great surprise for your generosity further down in life. Long distance relationships are tough but hang in there. If you want it to work out it will. Take care.
Angel--I'm off on the last weekend of Oct. Halloween is on a Sat! Pretty please come here in your vampire costume?! Yeah I've given up on trying to connect with her. I wouldn't mind her using my things if she was somewhat friendly with me.
Mr Shife--Thanks for your support! Yeah I'm guessing the Universe will help me out when I need it in the future.
I'm off the third weekend of October and not the last weekend. If my weekend is clear, I may still come up. Will have to see...really want to visit you!!
