So the roommate is gone. I got irritated after she bailed on a meeting with the landlady. She claimed that she was too busy with work and would be out of town for a few days. So, I got ticked off and told her to leave if she wasn't serious about living here. We exchanged texts back and forth, and agreed to have a talk. About a day later, I ran into her at the house. She said she had a change of plans and decided to party with her friend. Spiced Egg doesn't like such signs of disrespect. We never had a talk because she decided to leave after all. Good riddance!
A week later, I threw a Halloween bash at my place. Recently there was a big fire in our town, and about twenty seven people were displaced from their apartments. I decided to turn the event into a charity ball and set up a donation box for the fire victims. After several drinks, people chipped in whatever they could. We had a blast and partied till about 6:30 am! Oh I dressed up as Miss Tidy Cat Litter, while my co-host dressed up as Queen Elizabeth. In our formal portrait, however, I'm Miss Moussaka.
Oh the money went to the Red Cross. When the receptionist asked who it was from, I just gave her my real name. My friend, the Queen, said I should have replied "Princess Moussaka." Next time, I'll have to use the name of our foundation. Egg & Friends? That sounds good! Just like moussaka...oh I LOVE Greek food!

That is so nice of you guys to raise money for those in need. So proud of you (you are always doing little things like this to improve and save lives--you saved mine, in so many ways).
