For Friday entertainment I'm sharing a clip from one of my favorite comedians, Bill Burr. If you're a fan of Chappelle's show, you'll recognize him from some skits. Bill Burr tells it like it is! I especially loved the last part of the clip--I could totally relate to the imitation of his dad!!! Have a great weekend folks! I may skip the wild dancing for a nite in my jammies along with a good book. I need to save the energy for my upcoming birthday:)

And how would you like your eggs?
Random musings about the Egg...
1) I had a dream that Angel Jr was best buddies with the comedian Carrot Top. They were driving around in a convertible with Carrot's kid. Does Carrot have a kid in real life? I don't know what this dream means. Can anyone explain? I'm nuts!
2) I'm very energetic and love new experiences. I don't know where I get the vast amount of fuel to be so bubbly (a nice term instead of hyper!). I'm definitely a people-person. I always find ways to connect with even the oddest of the bunch. This has caused many conflicts when group outings are concerned. Not everyone has the same level of tolerance for wacky people.
3) My reinvention tour started last August and is still continuing. It has been so much fun. But also draining when it comes to finances. No way in hell will I move back home! I'd rather be poor for a while until Angel Jr. and I have our own radio show. Anyway, the cash flow isn't the best. I know I'll upgrade to a higher paying job soon. I have to! And no way in hell that I'll return to clinical medicine. I had an idea about hand modeling...what do you guys think?
4) I used to be an insomniac for years. I have my relapses, but sleep has been much better for the past months. I had trouble with sleep since childhood, and the problem escalated when I went to medical school. Along with the insomnia, I also discovered that my dream-world can be quite exotic, funny, sad, and terrifying.
5) A couple of years ago I found out that the root of my sleeping problems is related to a condition called PTSD. We've all heard of it. I couldn't take it any longer, so I went to a therapist for a few months. I didn't feel so guilty about my anxiety anymore. I'll always be a sensitive freak (it's my nature to be a highly sensitive soul!), and will just have to find ways to manage this disorder. People who don't know me probably think I'm just a happy person all the time and wonder what kind of medication I must be taking. I call it a natural high. Yet we all have a dark side my friends. I'm learning to appreciate the light and dark sides of myself...I have a weird attraction to douchebags!
6) I love to eat. I savor the taste of every morsel, and this is why I eat slowly. I don't understand how some people just inhale food without really giving the taste buds a full experience. The slow eating also explains why I have a good metabolism (eh most of the time!). I'm proud of this habit. I think others should try it.
7) My hair can morph into various styles depending on the mood. If I don't blow dry, then the end result is a giant bouffant which usually surprises people..."Wow I didn't know you had so much hair!" Perhaps I'll post a picture of this style for your entertainment.
8) I tend to be closer with my guy friends. I have lots of girlfriends, and definitely appreciate their company and femininity. But somehow I can talk more openly with the male species. Generally I find that they don't worry about trivial concerns such as us women..."Oh I wonder if so and so thinks.." or "Does my ass look big in these jeans?" They don't give a shit. And make sure that this principle gets ingrained into your head. I've dumped many insecurities over the years due to their therapeutic principles. Thus, not ALL guys are douchebags!
9) I'll be turning 32 soon. For five years my birthdays were real downers. I tried to be happy for the occasion, but I wasn't. This year I'll be having a bash at my favorite hangout: the best gay bar in rural PA! The people are truly wonderful. Every time I go there, I'm surrounded by love. Recently one of the regulars said how he likes that I'm a natural glow. Me?! Really? He said I light up the place and am not afraid to be myself. Wow. If you told me this at 16, I would have laughed like a silly clown. Now I'm truly learning to value compliments:)
10) I'm flat broke, but life is beautiful (though sucky every once in a while--hey that's the beauty of it!). I wouldn't want it any other way. Okay some cash would be nice:)

Cooling down with hot pockets!
I'm much better than the last time that I was here:) Expressing the frustrations in writing helps a lot. You go back and wonder why you went berserk over a silly matter when there are much worse situations in the world!
Sat night I went dancing with my pals. It's simply the best exercise in the world! Even more fun was when a friend, who normally doesn't dance, decided to shake his ass with the rest of us. These are the moments to be treasured.
On Sun I was invited to my friend/landlady/co worker's place for dinner. I brought along a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing (ugh thank goodness for bakeries! was too hungover to make one from scratch). It was devoured after her yummy meal of ham and scalloped potatoes. Her family is very loving and down-to-earth. I consider this woman to be my surrogate mother (nothing wrong with having two mothers!):) After we ate, we watched funny clips of favorite comedians. I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt for a while! Here's one that I had never seen before. Enjoy!

Bringing Sexy Back
Yes, I'm still here. I decided to jazz up the blog with a new layout. What do you think? I also deleted a previous entry which was long and boring:) I was really frustrated that day with my health and man concerns. I am happy to report that all is is well in both departments:) There's just something intriguing about this New Yrs Day fellow. I feel as if he has brought sexy back for this crazy egg:) What I think of as imperfections, he sees the opposite. And my oh my...the racy text messages are just deliciously fun! I really don't want anyone else right now!!! Yes, I enjoyed talking with my neighbor, but the chemistry with NYD cutie is out of this world. Sorry just being honest here! Alright I have to run off to work. See you all later.

Dirty Dancing
Here's a recent pic from my night out at the gay bar! Yes, I still go there! And I ran into old co-workers who were also surprised to see me there. "Oh God we didn't tell our husbands that we were coming here!" I told them to relax and have fun, and that everyone is friendly. I haven't been there in a while due to being sick. I made up for it by dancing the night away with my pals. It was so much fun!!! I highly recommend dancing to anyone who needs a mood lifter:)
P.S. By the way, when I was home for the meal, my dad didn't hassle me about anything. He thought I'd stay over, but a snowstorm was due at midnight and I had to work today...When I came home, I called to say that I arrived safely. He said to be careful on the roads and to take rest. Guess that dear mother of mine told him to go easy on this soon-to-be 32 year old:)

To Kill A Cold And Win A Man
The reason I haven't been here much is because of a nasty cold! Bleh! It has been in my system for 10 days (or more??!) and frankly I want it to take a hike. You've overstayed your welcome! Go find another immune system to hack!!! I almost lost my voice a few days ago. Desperate for relief (nyquil, vick's vapor rub, hot tea...temporary remedies but not enough!), I took the advice of a friend and...hit the bar! Hehehehe. She told me to try blackberry brandy--that it never fails her. Since the liquor stores were closed, I paid a visit to the bar. What a riot. It was Friday night and I showed up in my grey trench coat. The place was packed with college students. I sat at the bar by myself and downed two shots of the stuff. After 20 minutes I left. All I could do was laugh to myself...I felt like Columbo (the TV detective) with the coat. Later that night, Angel called and I told him about my trip to the bar. We had great laughs--even though my voice was cracking, the phone call was the best therapy!
Well, in other news...the dating scene is driving me up the wall. On the one hand, I really like this new guy. But our schedules are not in synch, and we basically text to keep in touch. It's kind of crazy. We have silly chats and that's always fun. Yet, I get the feeling that he's afraid of getting too involved (physically I don't think he minds...hehehe!). Sigh. What's the point of relationships then? You can't run away from them! One has to take risks--such is life no? Anyway that's all for now. I promise that I'll visit all the neglected blogs. Sorry sorry! Please forgive me.
