Egg Opens Up Her Home And Self

For a long time, I was accustomed to living alone. I can't count the times when I lived with my family. I've had some roommates, all of different backgrounds and personalities at various stages of my life. The best roomie had to be Angel Jr, who stayed with me for about three months. We just clicked perfectly and never had any serious problems, except when he had to deal with my hormonal rages. I can be such a crab hehe!

Recently I opened my home to a friend, who just moved back to the area. She's in my age range, and pretty down to earth. And also very artistic! And compared to the Egg, she cooks on a regular basis. Perhaps I can pick up some good habits:) I just hope that she likes it here. All is fine, except I think I'm more hyper and tend to talk about anything and everything. My worry is that she'll get annoyed with my quirks! I suppose if that does happen, then I'll just have to accept it...

Living alone means too much freedom. You can be a slob, talk to the wall, fart without inhibitions, keep opening the fridge every hour (when you know there's nothing in there except for condiments), etc. Once a person shares the same dwelling with you, the right to respect each other's personal space becomes very important. Yet, parts of you will be exposed whether you like it or not. Don't worry...I'm keeping the farts to myself! I can't believe I just wrote that...

I liked living alone, but I am married now so that kind of went out the window haha :)

That's awesome you lived with Angel Jr!

You cooked on a regular basis!! Remember you were trying do go through all the different dishes in that cookbook? You cooked quite often. And the feast that you made me on my birthday!! One of the most memorable dinners (grand buffets) that I've had in a long time!

I didn't know you and Angel Jr. were roomies! How cool. He remains the only blog buddy I've ever met in person thus far.

Soon, you and your roomie will be farting up a storm.

Well my new roommate doesn't keep the farts too himself. As a matter of fact he makes clean up his poop and feed him. But seriously living with someone after you have been alone for a bit can be quite the transition. Hopefully you and your farts can adjust.

Yes, Angel Jr was a great roomie! I was so sad after he left. On hot summer days, we'd sleep in the air conditioned living room. Like little kids, we'd chat away as if we were in a slumber party:)
