Is it the heat?

A woman can have the occasional relapse. I have a silly crush on a blond haired, blue-eyed soul. Alright alright...I have a weakness for such features. Earlier it used to be Mediterranean delicacy. Tastes have changed over the years. Please lay off the puns. I say that word with full force. When I was in university, I asked one of my buddies what his family would say if he fell for a non-white chick. He said "Oh they'll say he's just tasting." WTF? Not sure how we stayed friends after that line. I must have had a lot of tolerance in those days.

Now I suddenly want to run to the pharmacy all the time. I've had my eye on him for a while. He's a handsome one! Just played it cool today with the refills. Damn it I didn't look for the magic ring! I wanted to yap more, but there were customers behind. He seems like a nice guy. A girl can dream right? Last week was the only time I didn't want to see him. I had to stock up on big boxes of feminine pads (they were on sale--a real bargain!).

Some of my amigos know that I have no trouble with asking the opposite sex out. Ahem..."Reach out and touch someone." I did just that with a text message. Too bad that he had to move out of town for a job transfer. However, I'll keep a low profile this time around. Flirting is harmless, unless he's taken...

One ring to rule them all! :D

Anyway, I think it's interesting how our generation is with racially-mixed relationships. We are much more forgiving than our parents (much to their dismay). I've often wondered how I would approach my parents if I were in a situation where I fell in love with someone they may find disagreeable. Would I risk that contention between us to love someone they wouldn't accept? Who knows...

But flirting... well, why not?

It's nice to have some eye candy when you get your refills. Lucky. My pharmacists are either women or old men!

Aaron--I'll write a post about the trials and tribulations of mixed relationships. It's not easy!

Nutz--I'm lucky to get a charming pharmacist. And eh cute, too. Now I want to do all my shopping there..hehehe.

Yes, you've shared with me some of your stories of bravery!! And I've applauded you for them--I still say it's cool for a woman to ask out a guy.
And you are a cool one!! So I can't see a guy saying no to you! I certainly remember a couple of our classmates talking about you like you were eye candy. We weren't friends then, or I may have popped a few of them. I of course was still fascinated by the chick who always interrupted lectures late and was always either sucking on a lollipop or eating some sort of fruit. Remember her? Probably not--you females never notice anything.

Angel--I love your compliments! They're always appreciated. Well, it would have been cool to find out who was interested. It would have made class less boring! Hehe. So, I think this new eye candy is younger. Perhaps 7yrs younger? Go figure! My luck:) Us females never notice anything...HA! I do remember the lollipop girl. She sat right behind me.

Well good luck with the flirting. I get scared when I visit our pharmacist because she has a lazy eye and I can never tell where she is looking.

Phats--Not sure what's going on, but blogger has its moments. Thanks for the encouragement! No updates, but I'm going to suck it up and ask him out for a coffee...I'm slightly nervous!

I'm not really good at asking someone out or even trying to get them to know that I'm interested... HOWEVER! I am getting very good at getting men drunk enough to find me a bit cute. Progress! ;-)
