Blogging has certainly helped. I can ramble for free. And I won't get charged by the hour--ouch, therapy is expensive! Certainly there are some great blogs, which should be required reading...especially the humorous ones! I used to think that journal-ing was a private ritual. However, in these times, I feel that it's essential to share our fragile moments...or silly ones. It's easy to get caught up in the circus. For starters, I had to stop watching the boob tube. I almost got sucked into an alternate reality (my only excuse is that it was the cornfields, and I needed an escape). One day it blew up on me. That's when I knew it was time for help.
Here's a great entry about staying cool. Later I came across an article about the healing power of news. Check them out. So, the take home message is to be calm under the storms. Easier said than done--I can throw a hissy fit if someone barks at me. Tame the tiger. Have a great Monday!

I loved the story about the waiter and the lady! It just made me want to do something extra nice tomorrow. And I agree, blogging IS cheaper than therapy!
blogging is very therapeutic and it allows a person to brain dump your thoughts/feelings. it's a great outlet.
Just keep spicing the eggs and remember baby steps.
I think any time for reflection and for yourself is therapeutic. And yes, it's much cheaper. If talk therapy was free, I'd do a check in every few months. Alas I'll settle for blogging for now:)
Brandy-Yeah isn't that a beautiful story? Makes you want to spread the love!
Trixie-Blogging is therapeutic. Sometimes it helps to see different perspectives from people, especially anonymous ones.
Angel-I'm ready for spicy scrambled eggs!
Ally-Talk therapy is $! Thanks to blogger, we have a great outlet.
