Let's Get Physical

Yes, the font varies with my blog. I tried to change it a few times. Just to compare the look. Of course it ended up a mess. Oh well. I think I like the Georgia font.

It's getting hot eh? This morning I tried to jog. That was a disaster. After ten minutes, I stopped the madness. First of all, it was warm. Second, I'm not used to running. Walking is great. Why ruin a good thing? While taking a stroll, I can enjoy the scenery. And not have a painful expression on my face. I should have known better. Back in high school, I joined the track team out of boredom. I thought I'd get to jump. Instead I was pushed into the 800 meter. Let's just say that I improved my time to 3min and 30 sec...hehe. I came in last. Every race. It was great fun though.

To all the slackers, just start with something. Gardening, walking, cooking, taking out the trash...Believe me it makes a difference!

Every journey begins with one step. Good luck with the running. I am in a mental rut right now with my running so I am taking a break. And I think the font looks great.

"Why ruin a good thing?", is one of my favourite expressions ever! (And usually gets me out of doing things I don't want to do). So glad it's summer!

Gardening is a great way to relieve stress. Although I have taken up running because it feels good!!

if more people were as bad in gardening as i am, global warming would have killed us decades ago. so i cook instead.
taking out the trash, hm, that's fun.

I like gardening and walking. Wonderful things to calm the mind and good excercise too.

cooking does it for me. Everytime I get in my kitchen, I get a "this is where I belong" feeling. Sorry to hear about your running mess. I agree, walking is great.

I'm a big time slacker...I just have a hard time getting motivated.

OK, I'm going to fix my deck now.

Great comments everyone. Thanks for sharing! By the way, I tried gardening over the weekend. Gave the thighs a good workout!

Walking rocks!! I love being outside walking, so much to look at while you're trotting along!
